Aaric Eisenstein, The Avian Rebbe

Click my photo for a video interview.

I bought my first camera just as Covid-19 hit, in anticipation that “alone and outside” was about to be our new reality. Technical skills developed over time. Artistic awareness grew. I did not, however, anticipate the overpowering joy of recognizing Divine gifts in both the natural world and religious tradition. Sharing these gifts is what I do as The Avian Rebbe.

A “rebbe” can be many things, but included in the mix would certainly be community leader, teacher, and storyteller.  Public speaking – more accurately, learning together – is my particular joy.  I am deeply honored when companies/business organizations, religious congregations, and civic groups ask me to lead learning sessions.

I was born in 1969 and raised mostly in San Antonio. I left to get a degree in Political Economy from Williams College. I then earned an MBA from the University of Texas. Prior day-jobs have ranged from owning a software company to running a geopolitical intelligence publishing operation. Currently I license patents for an inventor. Public speaking is an especial joy.

I live in Austin, TX with my son and am a grateful member of Congregation Agudas Achim.
